A good percentage of customers bring in a print in a tube that they must have ordered via the phone etc. You could ask them to send the print straight to us and we then would send you the finished framed print straight to your door. Saving time and cost.
Articles like prints, water colours, tapestries, cross stitches and pastels are easy to post as they roll up and can go in a tube or a padded bag. Oils on the other hand are mainly already on a stretcher and can be quite large and easily punctured by the postman or postwoman. If you don't want to send oils in the post you could just ask us to send the frame, which would have turn buttons at the back so it would take you only 2 minutes to put the picture in yourself. Make sure you give us the EXACT size of the oil so we can allow the right amount of leeway to give.
Post insurance we have to leave to you because we don't know that you have posted something to us. Insurance the other way is down to us. Usually its things like broken glass, but we pack things right so its not a real problem.
